Planning - Risk Assessment

Potential Hazard
Who is at risk?
Preventative Methods
Risk Potential (likelihood)
Running down a steep slope which he could lose his balance, trip over or fall in to the gorge.
Ollie
Walk slowly, take as much care while walking down.
High
Filming on the top of a steep slope on a wet surface.
James (Camera man)
Place the camera further away from the hill whilst on the tripod and zoom in to get the shot we want.
Medium/High
Running at the bottom of the hill and which runs onto a large area of gravel. Because it was on a wet surface, Ollie can easily slip over due to the lack of grip from his shoes.
Ollie
Slow down and take care smoothly whilst running onto the area of gravel.

Planning - Location Shots

Location shots

1)   This is an establishing shot of the “Prison” that the Convict (main character) will escape from.

2)   This is a shot of the “Exercise Yard” that our prisoner uses daily for recreation, in the background you can see the “Perimeter fence” and “civilian” houses

3)   This shot shows the “Prison” gates and in the background  you can see a “Cell Block”

4)   This shot shows an empty prison cell similar to our convict that is going to escape during the film.

5)   This shot shows the head space above our convict’s prison cell.

6)   This is a different shot of the “Exercise Yard” that our prisoner will run across when he escapes, in the background you can see the “Perimeter fence” and “civilian” houses.

7)   This is the muddy bank our prisoner will run down to evade capture and detection from the prison guards.

8)   This is an establishing shot of the “Church” that the Convict (main character) will seek asylum and protection in, he also finds his brother praying in this “Church”
